Goal #1

Goal #1 - I want to lose weight.

This is a big one and for most females this is number one on everyone's list. I am 28 years old 5'6 and 170lbs. I have never been skinny except when i was about 5 years old. I have never developed good eating habits or have ever exercised reguarly. I know that as i get older this is going to be a bigger problem. I want to figure it out now and start making good choices for myself to be healthy.

Ways to accomplish my goal
  • Start a food journal. I need to record everything i eat so that i can be consoious of my decisions
  • Go on a diet. After realizing what i eat, i need to change my habits so that I can make healthy choices
  • Go to Yoga on a regular basis. I sometimes go to Yoga class maybe once a month. This will not only strech my muscles but it will relax my mind. I will also try and get a partner to go with me so that i will have motivation, if no one goes though, I need to go and do it by myself.
  • Exercise. This one is probably the hardest for me. The easiest thing to do is to join a gym. I do not have any money for that so i have to find some alternatives. Some options for my exercise are: running in the park, exercise videos or dvds, swimming, or an alternative sport. I need to exercise at least 30 min a day 5 days a week, get myself into a schedule.
  • Once a week weigh myself and track my progress, if i start to see results it will definatly motivate myself to keep going.

 
This is me today August 20, 2013. I will never be the same a gain, i will be a healthier, happier me!
